Back to School Social Thursday, August 4^th

Please join us at the Back to School Social for new and returning Purdue University students and their parents to be held on Thursday, August 4, 2005, at Brentwood Forest Club House, 9000 Wrenwood Lane, Brentwood, MO 63144, from 7-9 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Get answers to your questions about campus life – meet other Purdue students – make contacts for rides home – win attendance prizes – learn who the 2005-2006 scholarship winners are. We will also show the 2004 Purdue Newsreel.

Scholarship Essay Contest Due July 30^th

Enter the Scholarship Essay Contest today – perhaps you will win one of the $500 scholarships! The student must reside in the St. Louis area and must submit a one to two-page double-spaced typewritten essay answering the question, “How will your Purdue experience/education make you successful in life?”

Your name, address, phone number, year and major should be on a separate sheet of paper so we may judge the essays anonymously. Essays must be received by July 30, 2005. Purdue Club at Busch Stadium July 16th

Join the Purdue Club of Greater St. Louis as the Cardinals play the Houston Astros on Saturday, July 16^th at 3:15 pm. Ticket cost is $20 per adult and $5 for children (ages 4-15).
