The Purdue Club of Sarasota held its Annual Business Meeting on March 1, 2006, by having a luncheon/cruise out of Marina Jack. The business included an update on the Club's Constitution, election of Officers and Directors, and Mr. Ben Paolillo, the Director of Alumni Clubs from the Purdue Alumni Association, showing the 2005 Purdue Newsreel and telling about happenings back at Purdue. At the conclusion of the business meeting, we left dockside, cruised on beautiful Sarasota Bay and had a very delicious seafood buffet. On this trip 53 Alumni joined us for a wonderful and exciting time. Many old acquaintances were renewed and many new friendships were started.

Sue Stolberg won the basketball signed by Coach Painter. Over $150 was raised for our scholarship fund through this activity.
