The Purdue Club of Sarasota held its Annual Business Meeting and Social at the Sarasota Classic Car Museum on March 25, 2008. The guest speaker was PAA's Chief Executive Officer and CEO, Kirk Cerny. Kirk was the recipient of a pair of the first ever Tervis Tumblers containing our new Purdue Club of Sarasota logo. In the absence of our local president, Paul Fratiello served wonderfully as our emcee. Twenty-nine attended and got to visit with Kirk and other fellow Boilermakers, and to see some vintage cars - some even saw an old one they use to own! Sue Stolberg and Paul Goodwin won the signed basketballs that were raffled to raise scholarship money. We also collected 16 pounds of food for a local food bank.
