Bob and Sarah Bateman Endowed Scholarship Fund

This fund was established in September, 2002 with gifts by the Purdue Club of Puget Sound to permanently endow the previously established Bob and Sarah Bateman Scholarship Fund (est. 1998).  Income is to be used for undergraduate scholarships for students from the State of Washington, specifically the Puget Sound area.  A student must have financial need and at least a 3.2 grade point average.  The University's Division of Financial Aid selects the recipients.

The Endowment account had a market value of $38,772 on 6/30/06 (date of the annual report) and by adding gifts to the endowment account, we can continue to make increasing grants to qualified students.

While we are extremely proud of this accomplishment, letıs not stop here!  Our ultimate goal is to have multiple endowments so we can grant more than one award per year.

If you have made a gift, please consider giving again. If you have not yet made your gift, please show your support of our Club and Purdue by giving the gift of a world-class Purdue education to qualified students from the Puget Sound area.

Please make your check payable to:
