Back
by popular demand, the Golf Outing and Family Dinner will again be held at the
Vineyard Golf Course on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. The Vineyard is a beautiful
course that Golf Digest ranks as one of the ten best public courses in Ohio. The
format for the outing, as in past years, will be a scramble. You may select your
teammates for the event since we use a modified handicapping system based on
scores during your round. We also encourage reservations from individual
golfers, who will then be paired up with other Boilermakers. Football and
Men’s Basketball coaches along with members from both PAA and the athletic
department will be joining this event (see page 1). Following golf, the Family
Dinner will be held in an indoor, air-conditioned banquet room at the course. If
you’re not able to join us for golf, you may still join us for the Family
Dinner. Some of our Purdue guests will be speaking during the Dinner activities.
The deadline for golf reservations is Wednesday, May 25, 2005. Please contact
Brian Elzer (777-1799) for tee times and additional information.
