We had over 50 Alumni attend the Summer BBQ and scholarship fundraiser event at Steiner Ranch in August.  Due to the great turn out and successful silent auction, we will be awarding a very deserving Purdue student a $1,200 scholarship from our proceeds!   Way to go Austin Purdue Alumni!

Downtown Austin Pub Crawl Saturday September 22

6 Bars in 6 Hours!

 

Come out and enjoy a night on the town with your fellow Boilermakers during our third annual Austin Pub Crawl!  The line up is set and we are working on the specials.  Bright yellow Purdue Boilermaker wrist bands will indicate your participation in the pub crawl – it will entitle you to drink and appetizer discounts. All Boilermaker Alums, friends, and family are welcome to join the festivities!  (please RSVP so we can give each venue an accurate number -evite to follow).  Please drink responsibly and DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

Race for the Cure Charity Event Saturday November 4

As Boilermakers, we are committed to making a difference where we live and work!   Join the Austin Boilermaker Team at the 10th Annual Komen Austin Race for the Cure on Sunday November 4th at Auditorium Shores! You can run, walk, watch or just simply donate to the cause. Our team goal is to raise $500.

October College Fairs
Help Recruit for Purdue - We need local Austin Purdue Alumni volunteers!  Purdue will be represented at several Austin area college fairs during October.   Recruiting is a great opportunity to share your love for Purdue with prospective students.  All you need to do is show up, look over the Purdue stats, and answer questions from prospective students and parents!   If you would like to volunteer, please email our PART chair, Julia Lenz at Julia_Lenz@Dell.com
